VICTORIOUS OVERCOMERS MINISTRIES

Was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and matriculated thru the Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1991.

In 1991, he found and married his Product of Paradise, Rochelle LaVonne Wright and is the father of four children, Bryan II, Tavon, Taliya, and Krystal.

He served nine years in the United States Marine Corps and received various awards and medals for outstanding service for his country.

 

Elder Jones received his spiritual backbone under the leadership of Bishop David W. Spann, Sr. at the Greater Remnant Church of God in Christ, in Baltimore, MD where he attended faithfully from a young child until he joined the military.  During his military career, the Lord sent him to Pastor V. Robinson III of the New Covenant Ministries Church of God in Christ in Jacksonville, NC.  There he worked tirelessly for 5 years as an armor bearer, musician, choir director, sound technician, Sunday School teacher, and whatever he could find his hands to do to help and advance the work of the Lord.

From 1998-2010, Elder Jones was a faithful member of the Gethsemane Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Supt LC Coles, Jr.  He did not slack in his ministry of helps, but continued tirelessly as a musician, pastoral assistant, teacher, appointed a deacon 2004, licensed a minister in 2005 and many other tasks that have no title, but there was a need and he filled it.  From 2010-2013, he shared his ministry gifts at the Greater Love Anointed COGIC with Pastor A. Blackwell, as the Pastoral Administrator, Minister of Music and Bible Study teacher.

 

The Lord has called and qualified Elder Jones to be a vessel to carry His precious Gospel of Jesus Christ to the hurt, lost, and hungry.  On August 4, 2009, Elder Jones was ordained an elder, which is another chapter in his spiritual journey with the Lord. Yielding to the call of the Lord, Elder Jones labored in prayer, fasting, consecration, and wise counsel to birth a ministry in the Stafford VA area-Victorious Overcomers Ministries COGIC.   Elder Jones continues to accept and walk in the ordered steps by his Heavenly Commander in Chief.
